Learn a few basic fiddle tunes for mandolin that illustrate the combined influences of West African and northern European musical traditions on early American Old-Time music. Geared for intermediate mandolin players with a basic acumen around playing melody and chords.Sheet music will be available but not necessary to read music for this workshop and encourage everyone to bring a recording device.
